SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Lillian N. (nee Narro) Mejia; and
WHEREAS, Lillian N. Mejia was preceded in death by her
siblings, Manuel, Carmen, Rebecca, David, and Ramiro Narro and
Sara Angeles; and
WHEREAS, Lillian N. Mejia was the beloved wife of the late
Ramiro Mejia; the loving mother of Debbie (Michael) Hoffman,
Ray, Aaron (Maria), and Matthew Mejia; the cherished
grandmother of Phillip (Kristina), Matthew, Kevin, Michael,
Aaron, Judah, Nathan, Jackie, and Ashley; the
great-grandmother of Michael and Jack; the dear sister of Maria
(the late Felix) Elizondo and Margaret (Frank) DeLaRosa; and
found aunt of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Lillian N. Mejia, and extend our sincere condolences to her
family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Lillian N. Mejia as an expression of
