| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of
Brande "Boo" Erin Akers of Rome, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on March 10, 2010; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Brande Akers was born on June 13, 1979, in Peoria; | ||||||
| 6 | and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Brande Akers attended the Peoria Developmental | ||||||
| 8 | Center for 18 years; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Brande Akers befriended everyone she met through | ||||||
| 10 | her great big grin and greeted everyone who tousled her hair | ||||||
| 11 | with a giggle; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Brande Akers enjoyed music, especially music on | ||||||
| 13 | the riverfront, Janis Joplin, the bagpipes, and Celtic Woman; | ||||||
| 14 | she was as adventurous as her physical capabilities would allow | ||||||
| 15 | her or as far as her father would take her; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Brande Akers was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 17 | grandparents, Frank and Evelyn Akers and Boyce and Libbie Lovan | ||||||
| 18 | Sr.; and her uncle, Mike Lovan; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Brande Akers is survived by her loving parents, | ||||||

| 1 | Robert "Bob" and Mary C. Lovan Akers; her aunts and uncles, | ||||||
| 2 | Fran Pierce, Frank (Ellen) Akers, Carole Stephens, Bill (Carol) | ||||||

| 9 | her family and friends, the passing of Brande "Boo" Erin Akers; | ||||||
