SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Margaret M. McClellan of Forked River,
New Jersey, who passed away on April 9, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Margaret McClellan was born in Bayonne, New
Jersey; she lived in Colonia, New Jersey for 30 years before
moving to Forked River; and
WHEREAS, Margaret McClellan was a founding member of St.
John Vianney Church in Colonia; she served as Director of
Religious Education for many years and held numerous positions
in the church's Altar Rosary Society; after moving to Forked
River, she continued her service as a Lay Eucharistic Minister
at St. Barnabas Church in Bayville and was an active member of
the church's Altar Rosary Society; and
WHEREAS, Margaret McClellan was preceded in death by her
husband of 54 years, Andrew; and
WHEREAS, Margaret McClellan is survived by her son, Bud
(Eleanor); her daughters, Agnes (Clifford) Bacsik, Annie
Bologno, Peggy, Maureen, and Mare; her grandchildren, Andrew,
Michael, Patrick, and Colleen McClellan, Christopher, John,
and Thomas Bacsik, and Melissa and Megan Bologno; her sisters,

Vera Gallagher and Agnes Hemmann; her brothers, Robert and
Eugene O'Halloran; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
family and friends, mourn the passing of Margaret M. McClellan;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Margaret McClellan as an expression
of our sympathy.
