SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Louis Keith Louck of Moline, who
4passed away on December 8, 2023; and
5 WHEREAS, Louis Louck was born to Louis K. Louck Sr. and
6Charlotte (Lomax) Louck on October 4, 1942; he attended Rock
7Island High School; he entered the U.S. Army in 1960, serving
8for two tours in Vietnam, retiring in 1980; he married JoAnn
9Dempsey in Rock Island on February 8, 1963; and
10 WHEREAS, Louis Louck worked as an equipment specialist for
11the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring after 35 years of service;
12and
13 WHEREAS, Louis Louck was an avid fan of Michigan College
14football and of cars of all kinds; he especially loved his
15dogs, Peanuts and Max; and
16 WHEREAS, Louis Louck was preceded in death by his parents
17and his sister, Judith Brems; and
18 WHEREAS, Louis Louck is survived by his wife of 60 years,
19JoAnn; his sons, Jeff Louck and Mike (Connie) Louck; his
20granddaughters, Kourtney Milling and Teigan Mowder; his

1sister, Debbie Rewerts; his brother, Greg (Amy) Lock; and a
2host of nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
3 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Louis Keith Louck and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
