2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Louis Keith Louck of Moline, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on December 8, 2023; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Louis Louck was born to Louis K. Louck Sr. and | ||||||
6 | Charlotte (Lomax) Louck on October 4, 1942; he attended Rock | ||||||
7 | Island High School; he entered the U.S. Army in 1960, serving | ||||||
8 | for two tours in Vietnam, retiring in 1980; he married JoAnn | ||||||
9 | Dempsey in Rock Island on February 8, 1963; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Louis Louck worked as an equipment specialist for | ||||||
11 | the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring after 35 years of service; | ||||||
12 | and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Louis Louck was an avid fan of Michigan College | ||||||
14 | football and of cars of all kinds; he especially loved his | ||||||
15 | dogs, Peanuts and Max; and

16 | WHEREAS, Louis Louck was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
17 | and his sister, Judith Brems; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Louis Louck is survived by his wife of 60 years, | ||||||
19 | JoAnn; his sons, Jeff Louck and Mike (Connie) Louck; his | ||||||
20 | granddaughters, Kourtney Milling and Teigan Mowder; his |

1 | sister, Debbie Rewerts; his brother, Greg (Amy) Lock; and a | ||||||
2 | host of nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
