SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Richard H. De Wispelaere of Moline, who
passed away on August 17, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Richard De Wispelaere was born in Moline to Herman
and Augusta (VandeNoste) De Wispelaere on March 19, 1935; he
graduated from Allemen High School in 1953; he married Betty L.
Roberts in Rock Island on August 28, 1960; and
WHEREAS, Richard De Wispelaere was employed by the former
Eagles, the Times Democrat newspaper, Servus Rubber Company,
and Teske Seed and Feed; and
WHEREAS, Richard De Wispelaere enjoyed softball, bowling,
golf, and motorcycles; and
WHEREAS, Richard De Wispelaere was preceded in death by his
wife of 59 years, Betty; his parents; and his siblings; and
WHEREAS, Richard De Wispelaere is survived by his
daughters, Stacy (Tom) Robb and Natasha (Kevin) Krueger; and
his grandchildren, Ryan Robb, Tyrus Krueger, Nolan Krueger, and
Tenley Krueger; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Richard H. De Wispelaere and extend our sincere condolences to
his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Richard De Wispelaere as an
expression of our deepest sympathy.
