| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of John D. Saletta M.D. of Glenview, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on June 19, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Dr. Saletta graduated from the Loyola University | ||||||
| 6 | Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 1962; he married Suzanne | ||||||
| 7 | (Shay) Saletta; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Dr. Saletta was a respected surgeon for 50 years, | ||||||
| 9 | specializing in general surgery; he was with Advocate Lutheran | ||||||
| 10 | General Hospital in Park Ridge for 35 years; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Dr. Saletta is survived by his wife of 57 years, | ||||||
| 12 | Suzanne; his children, John (Amy) Saletta, Tom (Katie) Saletta, | ||||||
| 13 | Suzanne (Michael) Hogarty, Mary (Henry) Conforti, and Michael | ||||||
| 14 | Saletta; his grandchildren, Meghan, Michael, and Jack Saletta, | ||||||
| 15 | Matthew, Patrick, John, and Molly Saletta, Sean and Stephen | ||||||
| 16 | Hogarty, and Henry and Kathleen Conforti; and his | ||||||
| 17 | brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard (Joanne) Shay and | ||||||
| 18 | Virginia (Peter) Murphy; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 21 | John D. Saletta M.D., and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
