| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Robert "Bobby" Ross of Waukegan, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 8, 2012; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, He was born to Marvin and Lois Ross on February | ||||||
| 6 | 27, 1955 in Waukegan and was a member of St. Anastasia Church | ||||||
| 7 | in Waukegan; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, He loved people, sports, music, cooking, and | ||||||
| 9 | driving his pontoon boat; he was a life long Chicago Bears fan, | ||||||
| 10 | loved all kinds of music, and found great joy in cooking for | ||||||
| 11 | his friends and family; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, He was a true friend to many and had a generous | ||||||
| 13 | heart; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin | ||||||
| 15 | Ross; his brother, Ed Ross; and his stepfather Everett Burkett; | ||||||
| 16 | and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Robert Ross is survived by his mother, Lois (nee | ||||||
| 18 | Warack) Ross Burkett; his wife, Cheryl Ross; his daughter, | ||||||
| 19 | Katie Ross; his grandson, Marvin Ross; his nieces, Maggie (Joe) | ||||||
| 20 | Harmsen and Halley Ross; and his many cousins and loving | ||||||

| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 4 | his family and friends, the passing of Robert Ross; and be it | ||||||
| 5 | further
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 7 | presented to the family of Robert Ross as a symbol of our | ||||||
