| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Paul Rosenberg; and
| ||||||
| 4 | WHEREAS, Paul Rosenberg was an ardent supporter of Jewish | ||||||
| 5 | education in Chicago; he was an honorary president and a | ||||||
| 6 | 12-year Past President of Associated Talmud Torahs of Chicago, | ||||||
| 7 | and served on the organization's board for many years; he was | ||||||
| 8 | also a member of the Hebrew Theological College Board of | ||||||
| 9 | Directors and chaired the building committee for the Ida Crown | ||||||
| 10 | Jewish Academy; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Paul Rosenberg was an active member of the Jewish | ||||||
| 12 | United Fund; he was a member of the JF Jewish Education | ||||||
| 13 | Committee and served as chair of the Jewish United Fund | ||||||
| 14 | Congregations Division, the Miami Snowbirds, and the event at | ||||||
| 15 | Congregation Ezras Israel in West Rogers Park; he also served | ||||||
| 16 | the organization as a Campaign Special Advisor and a Golden | ||||||
| 17 | Giver; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Paul Rosenberg was the beloved husband of Doris | ||||||
| 19 | (nee Raskin) for 69 years; he was the loving father of Mark | ||||||
| 20 | (Elaine) Rosenberg, Ira (Debra) Rosenberg, and Sharon | ||||||
| 21 | (Seymour) Gertz; the proud grandfather of Nadine (Nosson) | ||||||
| 22 | Czako, Erica (Gershon) Fiedler, Kenneth Rosenberg, Aliza | ||||||

| 1 | (Brad) Olswang, Ariella (Rabbi Mordechai) Loiterman, Adina | ||||||

| 11 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Paul Rosenberg; and be | ||||||
| 12 | it further

| 14 | presented to the family of Paul Rosenberg as an expression of | ||||||
