2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of William "Bill" Dunlay Drew of Chicago, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on May 14, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, William Drew was born in Waukegan on July 18, 1947 | ||||||
6 | to Richard and Loretta (Olson) Drew; he graduated from Waukegan | ||||||
7 | High School, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the | ||||||
8 | University of Illinois at Chicago; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, William Drew was a computer programmer and a | ||||||
10 | longtime community activist; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, William Drew is survived by his wife, Gloria | ||||||
12 | (Hernandez-Luis); his sons, Richard and William; his sisters, | ||||||
13 | Jane (Michael) Waller and Nora Renzulli; his brother, John | ||||||
14 | (Lauren Baker) Drew; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and | ||||||
15 | friends; therefore, be it

16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
18 | William "Bill" Dunlay Drew, and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
19 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
