| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Susan Lee Ohlerich of Rock Island, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on June 29, 2019; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Susan Ohlerich was born in DeWitt to Albert and | ||||||
| 6 | Luetta (Dettman) Ohlerich on October 9, 1953; she graduated | ||||||
| 7 | from Central Community High School in 1971; she served in the | ||||||
| 8 | United States Army from 1973 until 1976; she received a medical | ||||||
| 9 | laboratory assistant certificate from Scott Community College | ||||||
| 10 | in 1978; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Susan Ohlerich retired as an IT Specialist in the | ||||||
| 12 | Defense Information Systems Agency at the Rock Island Arsenal | ||||||
| 13 | in 2009; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Susan Ohlerich was an avid animal lover and | ||||||
| 15 | adopted many cats and dogs, and even a horse, throughout her | ||||||
| 16 | life; she enjoyed traveling with family and friends and | ||||||
| 17 | shopping for gourmet foods; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Susan Ohlerich is survived by her sisters, Nancy | ||||||
| 19 | (Barry) Deist and Karie (Mark) Kutmas; her nieces and nephews | ||||||
| 20 | and their spouses, Greg and Fabiana Deist, Philip and Lynne | ||||||
| 21 | Deist, Barbara and Kenneth Obert, Brian and Nichole Kutmas, | ||||||

| 1 | Brandon and Ashley Kutmas, and Bradley Kutmas; and eight | ||||||
| 2 | grandnieces and grandnephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 5 | Susan Lee Ohlerich and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
| 6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
| 7 | further

| 8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
