SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Janice Spella of Algonquin, who passed
4away on September 23, 2013; and
5 WHEREAS, Janice Spella was born on June 16, 1929 in Elgin;
6her parents were Carmine and Genevieve (Morretti) Leone; and
7 WHEREAS, Janice Spella worked as a secretary at Algonquin
8Middle School in School District 300 for 25 years until her
9retirement; and
10 WHEREAS, Janice Spella was a member of St. Margaret Mary
11Catholic Church; and
12 WHEREAS, Janice Spella was preceded in death by her husband
13of 52 years, Salvatore "Ted" Spella; her parents; her sisters,
14Ida and Mary; and her brother, Eugene; and
15 WHEREAS, Janice Spella is survived by her sons, Gene,
16Steven, John, and Bob; her brother, Sam (Meryldean) Leone; and
17her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Stephanie, and Amy; therefore, be
18it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

2family and friends, mourn the passing of Janice Spella; and be
