| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Jerry A. Killam of Carlinville, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on January 10, 2010; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Jerry A. Killam was born February 14, 1941, in | ||||||
| 6 | Carlinville, the son of Truman Henry "T.H." and Ethel Mae | ||||||
| 7 | (Alfrey) Killam; he married Lois Hunt in Carlinville on | ||||||
| 8 | December 4, 1960; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Jerry was a grain farmer in Carlinville from 1960 | ||||||
| 10 | until his retirement in 2002; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, He enjoyed mowing, vacationing, short road trips, | ||||||
| 12 | and wintering in Florida; he took great pleasure in spending | ||||||
| 13 | time with his family; he was a past member of the Carlinville | ||||||
| 14 | Jaycees, Macoupin County Fair Board, and Carlinville Elks | ||||||
| 15 | Lodge; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Jerry Killam is survived by his wife, Lois Killam; | ||||||
| 17 | his son, Richard Killam (Lisa); his daughter, Shelley Williams | ||||||
| 18 | (Gregg); his son, Daniel Killam (Lori); his grandchildren, Jay | ||||||
| 19 | Killam (Melissa), Dane Killam, Dalton Williams, Amanda Killam, | ||||||
| 20 | Kirsten Williams, and Tyler Killam; his great-granddaughter, | ||||||
| 21 | Allie Killam; and his sister, Kay Thompson; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 3 | his family and friends, the passing of Jerry Killam; and be it | ||||||
| 4 | further
