| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Vincent G. Volpe of Aurora, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on November 7, 2011; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, He was born September 4, 1938 in Chicago; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, He was the driving force in planning the future of | ||||||
| 7 | the Aurora Sportsman Club; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, He was known for his smile and sense of humor; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred | ||||||
| 10 | and Paul Volpe; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Vincent Volpe is survived by his wife, Geraldine | ||||||
| 12 | Volpe; his children, Deborah Volpe, Vincent Paul Volpe, and | ||||||
| 13 | Karen Volpe; his brother, John (Barb) Volpe; his sisters, Joy | ||||||
| 14 | Adams and Rosemary (Gary) Jones; his brother-in-law, Tony | ||||||
| 15 | Stasney; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 18 | his family and friends, the passing of Vincent Volpe; and be it | ||||||
| 19 | further
