| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Madeleine Gail Allen of Wheaton, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on May 4, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Madeleine Allen was born in Shreveport, Louisiana | ||||||
| 6 | on October 19, 1926 to Byno Mason and Madeleine LaVoie; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Madeleine Allen worked for School District 89 in | ||||||
| 8 | Glen Ellyn as a school secretary and then as a secretary for | ||||||
| 9 | the Superintendent for 20 years; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Madeleine Allen spent years helping with hundreds | ||||||
| 11 | of foster children; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Madeleine Allen was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 13 | husband of 46 years, James H. Allen; her parents; her sister, | ||||||
| 14 | Mickey Johns; and her brothers, Robert and Jerry Mason; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Madeleine Allen is survived by her son, Judge Jeff | ||||||
| 16 | (Nora) Allen; her daughters, Madeleine Joy (Bob) Curran and | ||||||
| 17 | Jill (Paul) Keenon; her niece, Tresa (Lewis) Kasten; her 14 | ||||||
| 18 | grandchildren; and her 28 great-grandchildren; therefore, be | ||||||
| 19 | it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 3 | Madeleine Gail Allen, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
| 4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
| 5 | further
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 7 | presented to the family of Madeleine Allen as an expression of | ||||||
| 8 | our deepest sympathy.
