| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of
Carl Ziemer of Wyoming, Illinois, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on November 20, 2009; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Carl Ziemer was born on May 31, 1961, in Peoria; | ||||||
| 6 | his parents were Orville and Phyllis (Terry) Ziemer; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Carl Ziemer was employed as a truck driver for | ||||||
| 8 | Brubaker Trucking of Goodfield; he also worked for Harmon | ||||||
| 9 | Farms, Cahill Farms, and Adlai Stevenson Farms and was involved | ||||||
| 10 | in various family farm operations; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Carl Ziemer earned an associate degree in diesel | ||||||
| 12 | mechanics; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Carl Ziemer attended Stark Congregational Church; | ||||||
| 14 | and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Carl Ziemer was preceded in death by his mother; | ||||||
| 16 | and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Carl Ziemer is survived by his father; his | ||||||
| 18 | fiancee, Mary Jane Streitmatter; his siblings, Alice (Dennis) | ||||||
| 19 | Maher, Linda (Jim) Legg, Henry Ziemer, Mary (Jerry) Barden, | ||||||

| 1 | Elizabeth Hudson, and Vicki (Jeff) Atherton; and his nieces and | ||||||
| 2 | nephews, Eric and Tony Legg, Jennifer, Diana, and George | ||||||
| 3 | Hudson, and James and Sarah Maher; therefore, be it

| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 6 | his family and friends, the passing of Carl Ziemer; and be it | ||||||
