SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Russell Scott Constantino of Gurnee, who
passed away on November 9, 2009; and
WHEREAS, He was born March 28, 1963 in Waukegan; he was a
Firefighter/Paramedic with the Gurnee Fire Department for 20
years, and was a member of the AFFI Honor Guard; and
WHEREAS, He was a coach for 8 years with Gurnee Youth
Baseball; and
WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father, Russell F.
Constantino; and
WHEREAS, Russell Constantino is survived by his high school
sweetheart and wife of 16 years, Shenandoah (nee: Cardwell);
his 14 year-old son, Ryan Russell; his 10 year-old daughter,
Lauren Rae; his mother, Marlene (Braun) Constantino; his
sister, Joy Grubbs; his brother, Glen Constantino; his in-laws,
Tim and Donna Cardwell; his sister-in-law, Terri (Don) Woodin;
and his nieces, Brittney and Megan Grubbs, Samantha
Constantino, and Kathryn and Kristina Woodin; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
his family and friends, the passing of Russell Constantino; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Russell Constantino as a symbol of
our sincere sympathy.
