SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Mario M. Ricchio of Harwood Heights, who
passed away on August 11, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Mario Ricchio was born on September 5, 1953; and
WHEREAS, Mario Ricchio served as the Chief of Police of
Harwood Heights; and
WHEREAS, Mario Ricchio was a longtime member of the
Columbian Club of Chicago; and
WHEREAS, Mario Ricchio was the loving husband of Debbie
(nee Wolfe); the devoted father of Nicole, Michael, and Anthony
Ricchio; the beloved son of Michele and Rachele Ricchio; the
son-in-law of Joseph and Betty Wolfe; the loving brother of
Francine (Delfo) Bianchini; the brother-in-law of Nick
(Tricia) and Tom (Liz) Wolfe; the loving uncle of Jennifer,
Joey, Eric, Kristina, Marc, Nicholas, Jimmy, Francesca, and
Boston; the cherished nephew of Gilda Morelli and Giovanni
(Maria) Ricchio; and dearest friend to John DeVries and
countless others; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Mario M. Ricchio, and extend our sincere condolences to his
family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Mario Ricchio as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
