2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Joseph B. "Joe" Reedy of East Moline, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on April 1, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Joe Reedy was born in Rock Island to Joseph and | ||||||
6 | Margaret Wilson Reedy on April 28, 1950; he served in the | ||||||
7 | United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict; he | ||||||
8 | married Pamela D. Willemarck in Rock Island on September 25, | ||||||
9 | 1976; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Joe Reedy served as a police officer for the City | ||||||
11 | of East Moline and retired in 2006 after over 32 years of | ||||||
12 | service; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Joe Reedy had been active in several service | ||||||
14 | organizations; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Joe Reedy was preceded in death by his parents and | ||||||
16 | his son, Justin; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Joe Reedy is survived by his wife, Pam; his son, | ||||||
18 | Travis Reedy; his siblings, Michael (Diane) Reedy, Mary Piper, | ||||||
19 | Ed (Laura) Reedy, Patrick Kevin (Shannon) Reedy, Eileen (David) | ||||||
20 | Meyer, Christine Herschberger, Tom (Denise) Reedy, Terry |

2 | Neal Reedy; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
5 | Joseph B. "Joe" Reedy and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
7 | further

8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
