SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Richard Burnstine M.D., who passed away
at the age of 86; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Burnstine was a caring pediatrician in private
practice for over 50 years and was loved and respected by his
many patients; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Burnstine was the beloved husband and best
friend of 63 years of Ann (Bernstein); the loving father of
Phil Burnstine, Debbie (Gary) Walt, Jean Burnstine (Tim
Kisley), and Liz Burnstine (Linda Kane); the very proud and
loving grandpa of Dan (Meghan) Burnstine, Ben Walt, Zach
Kisley, and Adam Walt; and the dear uncle, cousin, and friend
of many; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Richard Burnstine M.D., and extend our sincere condolences to
his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further;
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Dr. Burnstine as an expression of
