| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Eleanora Zdanowicz of Waukegan, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on December 30, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Eleanora Zdanowicz was born in Waukegan to Walter | ||||||
| 6 | and Frances Rynkiewicz on September 22, 1926; she attended St. | ||||||
| 7 | Therese Nursing School and married Walter Zdanowicz Sr. on May | ||||||
| 8 | 8, 1948; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Eleanora Zdanowicz worked as a registered nurse | ||||||
| 10 | for doctor's offices and then at St. Therese Hospital until her | ||||||
| 11 | retirement in 1985; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, After retiring, Eleanora Zdanowicz served as | ||||||
| 13 | secretary at St. Mary's in Mundelein and then St. Anastasia's | ||||||
| 14 | Church in Waukegan; she and her husband enjoyed traveling and | ||||||
| 15 | visited Africa, Europe, and Alaska; they especially enjoyed | ||||||
| 16 | traveling through the U.S. to attend hot air balloon festivals; | ||||||
| 17 | and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Eleanora Zdanowicz was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 19 | husband, Walter; her parents; her son, Joseph Andrew Zdanowicz; | ||||||
| 20 | and her brothers, Walter (Rusty) and Carl (Frances) Rynkiewicz; | ||||||
| 21 | and

| 1 | WHEREAS, Eleanora Zdanowicz is survived by her daughter, | ||||||
| 2 | Janine Clavey; her son, Walter (Brenda) Zdanowicz Jr.; her | ||||||
| 3 | granddaughters, Melissa Clavey and Tiffany Zdanowicz; her | ||||||
| 4 | great-grandchildren, Henry, Omalynn, Racquel, Emilio, Robert, | ||||||
| 5 | and Steven; and her sisters, Dora (Jack) Phillips and Jane | ||||||
| 6 | (Ray) Norton; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Eleanora Zdanowicz and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
| 10 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
| 11 | further
