SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Donald W. Cairns of Carlinville, who
passed away on May 17, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Donald Cairns was born on December 15, 1940, in
Carlinville; his parents were Clyde and Irene Cairns; and
WHEREAS, Donald Cairns was employed with the City of
Carlinville for over 30 years; and
WHEREAS, Donald Cairns was preceded in death by his parents
and his brother, Clyde E. Cairns Jr.; and
WHEREAS, Donald Cairns is survived by his brother, Paul
Robert "Bob" Cairns (Betty); his sisters, Judith Pfaff (Bill)
and Victoria Davis; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
his family and friends, the passing of Donald W. Cairns; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

our sympathy.
