2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of
Norma Jean Weems of Batavia, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on August 15, 2011; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Norma Jean Weems was born on December 10, 1946, in | ||||||
6 | Laurel, Mississippi; her parents were Malphord and Mary Colenia | ||||||
7 | (Walden) Weems; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Norma Jean Weems was employed as the executive | ||||||
9 | assistant to the Kane County Board chairman for the past 17 | ||||||
10 | years; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Norma Jean Weems was preceded in death by her | ||||||
12 | parents; her brother, Malphord; Mickey and William Weems; and | ||||||
13 | her sister, Helen Murphy; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Norma Jean Weems is survived by her daughter, Lisa | ||||||
15 | Zilonis; her son, Robert Brown; her granddaughter, Sarah | ||||||
16 | Zilonis; her sisters, Evelyn Hinton, Nancy (Jerry) Michalek, | ||||||
17 | and Laverne (Alton) Daniels; her brothers, Ronald Weems and | ||||||
18 | Dale Weems; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |

1 | her family and friends, the passing of Norma Jean Weems; and be | ||||||
2 | it further

3 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
4 | presented to the family of Norma Jean Weems as an expression of | ||||||
