2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Geraldine L. Knutson of Harvard, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on February 16, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Geraldine Knutson was born in Hermansville, | ||||||
6 | Michigan on May 5, 1929 to John and Anna (nee Folich) Minerick; | ||||||
7 | she married Robert Knutson on June 11, 1949; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Geraldine Knutson was an avid gardener and bird | ||||||
9 | watcher, and was fond of sewing and needlework; she enjoyed | ||||||
10 | traveling with her husband and relished her annual visit to the | ||||||
11 | family farm in Hermansville; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Geraldine Knutson was preceded in death by her | ||||||
13 | parents; her brothers, John Minerick and Philip Minerick; and | ||||||
14 | her brother-in-law, William Mitchell; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Geraldine Knutson is survived by her husband of 65 | ||||||
16 | years, Robert; her daughters, Carol, Laurie, and Susan Knutson; | ||||||
17 | her sisters, Audrey Mitchell, Marjorie (William) Leathem, | ||||||
18 | Helen (Robert) McKinnell, and Shirley (Norman) Schreiner; and | ||||||
19 | her sister-in-law, Lois Minerick; therefore, be it

20 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |

2 | Geraldine L. Knutson, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
3 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
