| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Catherine Gladys Martin of Carlyle, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on April 27, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Catherine Martin was born on January 12, 1938, in | ||||||
| 6 | Carlyle; her parents were William H. and Gladys V. Ross; she | ||||||
| 7 | married Roger T. Wright, Sr. on May 5, 1956; she later married | ||||||
| 8 | Cleve E. "Dip" Martin on June 3, 1994; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Catherine Martin was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 10 | parents; her loving husband, Cleve; her sister, Shirley Yokem; | ||||||
| 11 | and her brothers-in-law, Luther Ray Primm and Clifford Frank | ||||||
| 12 | Yokem; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Catherine Martin is survived by her children, | ||||||
| 14 | Teresa Jones and her husband, Rev. Robert, Roger Wright, Jr., | ||||||
| 15 | Cynthia Vance and her husband, Vinny, and Angelia Gordon and | ||||||
| 16 | her husband, Rowan Thompson; her grandchildren, R'Lee Jones, | ||||||
| 17 | Ross Wright, Violet, Georgia, Becky, and Carly Vance, and | ||||||
| 18 | Olivia Gordon; and her siblings, Alberta Primm, Bill Ross, and | ||||||
| 19 | Agnes Gulley and her husband, Walter; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 20 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 21 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||

| 1 | her family and friends, the passing of Catherine Gladys Martin; | ||||||
