SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Lorelee L. Pietrzak of Woodstock, who
passed away on February 7, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Lorelee Pietrzak was born in Woodstock to Melvin
C. and Lillian (Mika) Gehrke Sr. on June 22, 1968; she married
Christopher Pietrzak at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church
in Crystal Lake on September 4, 1994; and
WHEREAS, Lorelee Pietrzak worked as an estimator and
project manager at MG Mechanical in Woodstock; she had been
active in the HVAC and contracting industries since she was in
high school; she was a member of the Women's Society of
Mechanical Engineers and the ASHRAE Society; and
WHEREAS, Lorelee Pietrzak enjoyed decorating and interior
design and cooking meals for her family and friends; and
WHEREAS, Lorelee Pietrzak was preceded in death by her
father, Melvin C. Gehrke Sr.; and
WHEREAS, Lorelee Pietrzak is survived by her husband of 22
years, Christopher Pietrzak; her daughters, Larissa and
Lynsie; her mother, Lillian Gehrke; her brothers, Chriss

Patrick Gehrke, Steven (Debra) Gehrke, and Melvin C. (Cynthia)
Gehrke Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear
friends; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Lorelee L. Pietrzak, and extend our sincere condolences to her
family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Lorelee Pietrzak as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
