| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Rafael D. Castillo of Streator, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 19, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo was born in Juarez, Mexico to | ||||||
| 6 | Rafael and Celia Castillo on January 7, 1954; he married Elba | ||||||
| 7 | Carrillo in Juarez on July 24, 1974; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo retired from Plymouth Tube after | ||||||
| 9 | over 30 years of service; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo was a member of St. Michael the | ||||||
| 11 | Arch Angel Church in Streator; he was a jack of all trades, | ||||||
| 12 | especially when it came to working on houses and cars; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 14 | parents and his son, Daniel Castillo; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo is survived by his wife, Elba; his | ||||||
| 16 | sons, Rafael Jr. and Eric (Kelli); his grandchildren, Austin | ||||||
| 17 | and Lainie; two brothers; four sisters; and his beloved dog, | ||||||
| 18 | Rocky; therefore, be it

| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||

| 1 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 2 | Rafael D. Castillo, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
