| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Scott V. "Scooter" Scherer of Crystal | ||||||
| 4 | Lake, who passed away on January 28, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Scott Scherer was born in Waukegan on August 29, | ||||||
| 6 | 1959; he graduated from Central High School in 1977 and McHenry | ||||||
| 7 | County College; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Scott Scherer worked at PCI Pharma Services in | ||||||
| 9 | Woodstock until September of 2015; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Scott Scherer loved sports and played Little | ||||||
| 11 | League, Babe Ruth, and high school baseball; he was thrilled | ||||||
| 12 | seeing the Chicago Cubs win the World Series and was a lifelong | ||||||
| 13 | Seattle Seahawks fan; he was an experienced golfer and bowler; | ||||||
| 14 | and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Scott Scherer was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 16 | grandparents; his father, William; and his sister, Kristine; | ||||||
| 17 | and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Scott Scherer is survived by his mother, Susan; | ||||||
| 19 | his brother, Rob; his sister, Karen "Missi" (Bill) Disch; his | ||||||
| 20 | nephews, Matthew (Melissa) McDonald, and Patrick (Sara) | ||||||

| 1 | McDonald; his "Greats", Maggie and Leah McDonald, and Rory and | ||||||
| 2 | Brogan McDonald; his aunt, Victoria (John) Sershon; his best | ||||||
