| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois State Senate were | ||||||
| 3 | deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Charles L. Cockburn, | ||||||
| 4 | of Cleveland, Tennessee, formerly of Lockport, on April 2, | ||||||
| 5 | 2009; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Charles was a former member of the First | ||||||
| 7 | Congregational Church in Lockport and a life member of the | ||||||
| 8 | Teamsters Union Local #705; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, he was preceded in death by his parents, George | ||||||
| 10 | and Roa Lee Cockburn (nee Dunn); his granddaughter, Jackie; his | ||||||
| 11 | siblings, James Dunn, Edward Cockburn, Glenn Cockburn, Steven | ||||||
| 12 | Cockburn, Cecil Cockburn, Mary Cockburn, and Virginia Hawkins; | ||||||
| 13 | and

| 14 | WHEREAS, Charles is survived by his loving family, his | ||||||
| 15 | former wife and friend, Carolyn Cockburn; his children, Martha | ||||||
