2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Gary Vucich of Godfrey, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on March 8, 2021; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was born in Alton to Charles Albert | ||||||
6 | Vucich and Catherine Wyomia (Giles) Vucich on November 2, | ||||||
7 | 1942; he married Karen Rose Ragusa in Godfrey on October 9, | ||||||
8 | 1965; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich worked as a delivery driver for UPS | ||||||
10 | and retired after 29 years; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was a member of the Beltline | ||||||
12 | Christian Church; he was an avid patron of Mr. Donut; he | ||||||
13 | enjoyed golfing at Rolling Hills Golf Course; he also loved | ||||||
14 | attending his grandchildren's sporting events; above all, he | ||||||
15 | valued faith, friendships, and family; and

16 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
17 | and his sisters, Marsha Vucich and Barbara Spooner; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich is survived by his wife; his sons, | ||||||
19 | Doug (Trish) Vucich and David Vucich; his grandchildren, | ||||||
20 | Peyton and Ross; his brothers, Jim Vucich and William "Billy" |

1 | Bock; his sisters, Lana Kornick and Darlene Vucich; and his | ||||||
2 | nieces and nephews, Rachel Tornetto, Allison Spooner, Courtney | ||||||

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Gary Vucich and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | ||||||
8 | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
