| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Gary Vucich of Godfrey, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on March 8, 2021; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was born in Alton to Charles Albert | ||||||
| 6 | Vucich and Catherine Wyomia (Giles) Vucich on November 2, | ||||||
| 7 | 1942; he married Karen Rose Ragusa in Godfrey on October 9, | ||||||
| 8 | 1965; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich worked as a delivery driver for UPS | ||||||
| 10 | and retired after 29 years; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was a member of the Beltline | ||||||
| 12 | Christian Church; he was an avid patron of Mr. Donut; he | ||||||
| 13 | enjoyed golfing at Rolling Hills Golf Course; he also loved | ||||||
| 14 | attending his grandchildren's sporting events; above all, he | ||||||
| 15 | valued faith, friendships, and family; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
| 17 | and his sisters, Marsha Vucich and Barbara Spooner; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Gary Vucich is survived by his wife; his sons, | ||||||
| 19 | Doug (Trish) Vucich and David Vucich; his grandchildren, | ||||||
| 20 | Peyton and Ross; his brothers, Jim Vucich and William "Billy" | ||||||

| 1 | Bock; his sisters, Lana Kornick and Darlene Vucich; and his | ||||||
| 2 | nieces and nephews, Rachel Tornetto, Allison Spooner, Courtney | ||||||
| 3 | Cook, Robbie Cook, Parker Kornick, and Katie Kornick; | ||||||
| 4 | therefore, be it

| 5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
| 6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 7 | Gary Vucich and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | ||||||
| 8 | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| ||||||
| 9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 10 | presented to the family of Gary Vucich as an expression of our | ||||||
| 11 | deepest sympathy.
