2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Ann (nee Marfia) Daluga of Vernon Hills, | ||||||
4 | who passed away January 8, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Ann Daluga was born in Chicago on October 18, 1924 | ||||||
6 | to Sam and Mary Marfia; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Ann Daluga was the beloved mother of Barbara | ||||||
8 | (Arthur) Muller, James (Nancy) Daluga, and Janice (David) | ||||||
9 | Brandes; her greatest joy was being "Nana" to Kristie (Benny) | ||||||
10 | Taylor, James Muller, Joseph Muller, James (Dana) Daluga, Molly | ||||||
11 | Daluga, Mimi Daluga, Paul (Ashley) Brandes, and Annie Brandes; | ||||||
12 | she was able to hold her first great-grandchild, Cecelia Ann | ||||||
13 | Daluga, in October of 2014, which was an amazing 90th birthday | ||||||
14 | gift to her; and

15 | WHEREAS, Ann Daluga was preceded in death by her parents; | ||||||
16 | her brother, Anthony Marfia; and her sisters, Rose (Ross) | ||||||
17 | Sorrentino and Mary Jo Burton; and

18 | WHEREAS, Ann Daluga is survived by her siblings, Teresa | ||||||
19 | Whitlock, Joe Marfia, Marie (Dave) Bonnes, and Joanne (Don) | ||||||
20 | Perini, and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Ann Daluga, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, | ||||||
4 | friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
