| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Heinrich Viereckl of Batavia, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on February 9, 2019; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Heinrich Viereckl was born in Austria to Herman | ||||||
| 6 | and Gabrielle (Killian) Viereckl on August 4, 1935; he served | ||||||
| 7 | in Germany with the United States Army; he married Elfriede | ||||||
| 8 | Reik in Germany on May 16, 1960; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Heinrich Viereckl was employed by John Henry Homes | ||||||
| 10 | as a master carpenter for many years; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Following retirement, Heinrich Viereckl enjoyed | ||||||
| 12 | traveling the world with his cousin, Joe; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Heinrich Viereckl was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 14 | parents and his brother, Josef "Sepp" Viereckl; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Heinrich Viereckl is survived by his wife, | ||||||
| 16 | Elfriede; his children, Frank (Noreen) Viereckl, Lori | ||||||
| 17 | Viereckl, and Heidi (Scott) Treadman; his grandchildren, Lucy | ||||||
| 18 | and Martin (Fiancee Stephanie) Viereckl, Whitney Treadman, and | ||||||
| 19 | Samantha (Alex) Blaga; his brother, Fred Viereckl; his sister, | ||||||
| 20 | Christa (Charles) Stanek; his sister-in-law, Marianne | ||||||

| 1 | Viereckl; and his special cousin, Joe (Wilma) Viereckl; | ||||||

| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 5 | Heinrich Viereckl and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
