SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jodi G. Roth of Harvard, who passed away
4on January 17, 2017; and
5 WHEREAS, Jodi Roth was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Elmer
6and May (Brown) Frenk on August 2, 1958; she married Richard O.
7Roth in Cancun, Mexico on October 4, 1997; and
8 WHEREAS, Jodi Roth worked for the Alpha Net Foundation;
9previously she worked as a nurse at Valley Hi Nursing Home in
10Woodstock with the Alzheimer's patients; and
11 WHEREAS, Jodi Roth loved riding her Harley and hot rod,
12hanging out with her grandson, having family time, and playing
13with her dogs; and
14 WHEREAS, Jodi Roth was preceded in death by her parents;
15and
16 WHEREAS, Jodi Roth is survived by her husband, Richard; her
17daughter, Cherie (Shalin) (Henning) Patel; her son, Andrew
18(Ameythst) Roth; her daughter, Amanda Roth; her grandson, Ryan
19Higgins; her brother, Doug (Mari) Frenk; and her nephew, Maxx
20Frenk; therefore, be it

1 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Jodi G. Roth, and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
4friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
5 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Jodi Roth as an expression of our
7deepest sympathy.
