2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Beverly J. Mercer of Wyoming, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on February 27, 2011; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, She was born March 5, 1935, in Wyoming, the | ||||||
6 | daughter of Lewis and Mamie Hager Noret; she married Lloyd Lee | ||||||
7 | Mercer on May 15, 1952, in Mt. Sterling; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, She was a member of the Wyoming Betterment | ||||||
9 | Association, the Wyoming American Legion Auxiliary, and Stark | ||||||
10 | Congregational Church; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; | ||||||
12 | her parents; her daughter, Teresa; her brothers, Robert, | ||||||
13 | Conrad, John Dale, and Glenn Noret; her half-sister, Phyllis | ||||||
14 | Kissel; and her half-brothers, Raymond Noret and Alden Noret; | ||||||
15 | and

16 | WHEREAS, Beverly Mercer is survived by her sons, Lee (Sue) | ||||||
17 | Mercer, Kevin (Denise) Mercer, Jim (Anne) Mercer, and Doug | ||||||
18 | (Jereen) Mercer; her grandsons, Kyle, Andy, Zac, Eric, Seth, | ||||||
19 | Ben, and Holden; her granddaughters, Lindsay and Nicole; her | ||||||
20 | great-grandchildren; her sisters, Shirley Vilatte and Gleynafa | ||||||
21 | Bernard; and her brothers, Stanley Noret and Forrest Noret; |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
4 | her family and friends, the passing of Beverly Mercer; and be | ||||||
5 | it further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Beverly Mercer as a symbol of our | ||||||
8 | sincere sympathy.
