| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Lorene "Mike" Frerichs of Penfield, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on January 30, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs was born on July 25, 1923, in Kerr | ||||||
| 6 | Township; her parents were Carl and Grace Park; she married | ||||||
| 7 | George Frerichs on November 8, 1941, on the family farm in | ||||||
| 8 | Penfield; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs farmed alongside her husband for | ||||||
| 10 | her entire married life; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs was a dedicated member of St. | ||||||
| 12 | Paul's Lutheran Church; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs enjoyed canning, cooking, | ||||||
| 14 | crocheting, gardening, and fishing; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 16 | husband, George; her parents; her 2 brothers; and her 4 | ||||||
| 17 | sisters; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Lorene Frerichs is survived by her brother, John | ||||||
| 19 | (Mildred) Park; her brother-in-law, Don Gazalski; her | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | sisters-in-law, Peg Park, Norma (Jean) Davis, Martha (Edgar) | ||||||
| 2 | Bruns, and Evelyn Frerichs; and her many nieces and nephews; | ||||||
| 3 | therefore, be it

| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 6 | her family and friends, the passing of Lorene "Mike" Frerichs; | ||||||
| 7 | and be it further
| ||||||
| 8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 9 | presented to the family of Lorene Frerichs as an expression of | ||||||
| 10 | our sympathy.
