| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Ron Putzell of Itasca, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | January 20, 2009; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, He moved to Itasca in 1988 and was elected to the | ||||||
| 6 | Village Board in 1995; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, He served the Village of Itasca as chairman of the | ||||||
| 8 | Community Development Committee, the chairman of the Western | ||||||
| 9 | Access and O'Hare Noise Committee, the village liaison to the | ||||||
| 10 | DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference, and oversaw the | ||||||
| 11 | development, design, and construction of the Itasca Municipal | ||||||
| 12 | Complex; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, He also sat on the board of the Northern DuPage | ||||||
| 14 | Cable Television Agency (NORDCAT); he was the owner of Data | ||||||
| 15 | Cable Service, Incorporated, in Northlake; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, He was an avid golfer and a long-time member of | ||||||
| 17 | the Itasca Country Club; he was also a member of the Itasca | ||||||
| 18 | Lions Club and Saint Luke's Church; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Don Putzell is survived by his wife, Barbara; and | ||||||
| 20 | his daughter, Lara; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 3 | his family and friends, the passing of Don Putzell; and be it | ||||||
| 4 | further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Don Putzell as a symbol of our | ||||||
| 7 | sincere sympathy.
