2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Wilbur Henry Kamholz of Marengo, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on December 14, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Wilbur Kamholz was born to Walter and Nellie | ||||||
6 | (Bielema) Kamholz on July 3, 1922; he served in the United | ||||||
7 | States Navy during World War II; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Wilbur Kamholz worked as a carpenter for Deneen | ||||||
9 | Construction of Marengo for 40 years; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Wilbur Kamholz was a member of American Legion | ||||||
11 | Post 192 for 71 years; he was a lifelong member of Zion | ||||||
12 | Lutheran Church; he took great pride in raising and showing his | ||||||
13 | Arabian horses; he was a diehard fan of the Chicago Cubs and | ||||||
14 | Green Bay Packers; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Wilbur Kamholz was preceded in death by his | ||||||
16 | parents and his sister, Beverly Kamholz; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Wilbur Kamholz is survived by his brother, | ||||||
18 | Clifford (Shirley) Kamholz; his nephews, Greg Kamholz, and Gary | ||||||
19 | (Jackie) Kamholz; his niece, Connie (Bill) Davidson; five | ||||||
20 | great-nephews; one great-niece; and an amazing friend, Lane |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Wilbur Henry Kamholz, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
5 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
6 | further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
8 | presented to the family of Wilbur Kamholz as an expression of | ||||||
9 | our deepest sympathy.
