2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Mary E. Pasiewicz, who passed away on | ||||||
4 | October 9, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was born in Waukegan on August 21, | ||||||
6 | 1919 to Lawrence and Mary (nee Dolence) Furlan; she attended | ||||||
7 | Holy Family Church in North Chicago through the 8th grade; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was a homemaker and the owner of | ||||||
9 | Bucks Pool Hall; she was employed at the Great Lakes Naval | ||||||
10 | Station and with the Veterans Administration; she also worked | ||||||
11 | as a nanny; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was a past President of Christian | ||||||
13 | Singles; she loved people and conversation, listening to music, | ||||||
14 | and traveling; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was preceded in death by her | ||||||
16 | parents; her husband, Stanley (Buck); her son, Lawrence; and | ||||||
17 | her 3 brothers, Frank, Louis, and Edward; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz is survived by her children, | ||||||
19 | Loretta, Mike (Patricia), Paul, Stan (Pattie), and Dan (Linda); | ||||||
20 | her 9 grandchildren, Raymond (Kimberly), Joseph (fiancee |
