SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Tyler "Max" Zumwalt of Pittsfield, who
4passed away on January 23, 2011; and
5 WHEREAS, Tyler Zumwalt was born on December 29, 1990, in
6Pittsfield; he was the son of Parker and Beth Mitchell Zumwalt;
7and
8 WHEREAS, Tyler Zumwalt graduated from Pittsfield High
9School in 2009; he loved Saukee football and baseball and was
10an outstanding athlete; and
11 WHEREAS, Tyler Zumwalt was a sophomore at Culver Stockton
12College in Canton, Missouri, where he played as a defensive
13lineman for the Culver Stockton College football team; and
14 WHEREAS, Tyler Zumwalt enjoyed coaching the youth football
15league and umpiring little league baseball in Pittsfield; he
16also enjoyed bow and firearm deer hunting, shooting blue rocks,
17watching the Chicago Cubs, and spending time with his niece,
18Katie; and
19 WHEREAS, Tyler Zumwalt was preceded in death by his
20grandparents, Parker and Eileen Zumwalt and Jim and Wanda

2 WHEREAS, Tyler Zumwalt is survived by his parents, Parker
3and Beth Zumwalt; his brother, Trevor (fiancee, Kriss Reid)
4Zumwalt; his sisters, Tammy (Jarrod) Zumwalt Green and Toyia
5Zumwalt; his niece, Katie Zumwalt; his special family, Rick and
6Tracey Reel and their family; his aunt and uncle, Sandra and
7Lee Richey; and his 4 cousins; therefore, be it
8 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10his family and friends, the passing of Tyler "Max" Zumwalt; and
11be it further
12 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Tyler Zumwalt as an expression of
14our sympathy.
