SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Leslie M. Reger of Tinley Park, who
4passed away on January 12, 2011; and
5 WHEREAS, Leslie Reger was born on September 26, 1963; she
6graduated from and received her teaching certificate from
7Governors State University; and
8 WHEREAS, Leslie Reger taught school at St. Ann Catholic
9School in Lansing and worked as a phlebotomist at Ingalls
10Hospital in Harvey for 17 years; she was serving as a religious
11education teacher at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Tinley
12Park at the time of her passing; and
13 WHEREAS, Leslie Reger devoted herself full time as a loving
14mother to her children; she was very involved with the PTO and
15other volunteer organizations at her children's schools; and
16 WHEREAS, Leslie Reger was preceded in death by her father,
17Kenneth "Mace" Mazgaj; and
18 WHEREAS, Leslie Reger is survived by her husband, Kevin;
19her children, Courtney O'neill, Claire "C.J." Reger,
20Christopher Reger, Jennifer Reger, and Caitlyn Reger; her

1mother, Joanne Mazgaj; and her sister, Julie (Michael)
2Caffarini; therefore, be it
3 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
5her family and friends, the passing of Leslie M. Reger; and be
6it further
7 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Leslie Reger as an expression of our
9sympathy.
