| 1 | SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, During the 101st General Assembly, House Joint
| ||||||
| 3 | Resolution 37 created the Rural Development Task Force to study | ||||||
| 4 | the conditions, needs, issues, and problems in the agriculture | ||||||
| 5 | industry and evaluate any action or legislation that may be | ||||||
| 6 | necessary to promote economic development in the rural areas of | ||||||
| 7 | the State; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, The Rural Development Task Force was to report its
| ||||||
| 9 | findings and recommendations to the General Assembly by
| ||||||
| 10 | December 31, 2019; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, The Rural Development Task Force needs
additional | ||||||
| 12 | time to complete its work; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 13 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 14 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES | ||||||
| 15 | CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Rural Development Task Force shall | ||||||
| 16 | make recommendations to the General Assembly as required by | ||||||
| 17 | House Joint Resolution 37 no later than December 31, 2020; and | ||||||
| 18 | be it further
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, That with this extension, the Rural Development | ||||||
| 20 | Task Force shall continue to operate as provided under House | ||||||
| 21 | Joint Resolution 37 of the 101st General Assembly.
