15 ILCS 50/25 new

Amends the Gubernatorial Boards and Commissions Act. Provides that no member of a board or commission may be reimbursed for travel expenses paid from the General Revenue Fund. Effective immediately.

1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Gubernatorial Boards and Commissions Act is
5amended by adding Section 25 as follows:
6 (15 ILCS 50/25 new)
7 Sec. 25. No reimbursement for travel expenses paid from the
8General Revenue Fund. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary,
9beginning on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
1097th General Assembly, no member of a board or commission may
11be reimbursed for travel expenses paid from the General Revenue
12Fund.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14becoming law.
