AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section
1-2 as follows:
(105 ILCS 5/1-2) (from Ch. 122, par. 1-2)
Sec. 1-2. Construction. The The provisions of this Act, so
far as they are the same as those of any prior statute, shall
be construed as a continuation of such prior provisions, and
not as a new enactment.
If in any other statute reference is made to an Act of the
General Assembly, or a section of such an Act, which is
continued in this School Code, such reference shall be held to
refer to the Act or section thereof so continued in this Code.
