Amends the Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Rights Act. Provides that if exigent circumstances arise, the park owner is responsible for providing a water supply to each household following a 5-day period of no water.

1 AN ACT concerning civil law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Rights Act
5is amended by adding Section 14.3 as follows:
6 (765 ILCS 745/14.3 new)
7 Sec. 14.3. Water supply requirement. If exigent
8circumstances arise, the park owner is responsible for
9providing a water supply to each household. The amount shall be
10determined based on the lower-range quantity of water needed
11for survival, per person, pursuant to the World Health
12Organization's guidelines. The park owner shall provide water
13following a 5-day period in which the normal supply of water is
14disrupted, and shall provide water for as long as the
15disruption in water service continues.
