Bill Title: Amends the Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act. Provides that, notwithstanding any other provision of law, neither the Department of Public Health, the health department of a unit of local government, nor a public health district may regulate a lemonade stand operated by a person under the age of 16 years. Effective January 1, 2021.

AN ACT concerning health.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act is
amended by adding Section 3.9 as follows:

Sec. 3.9. Lemonade stand. Notwithstanding any other
provision of law, neither the Department of Public Health, the
health department of a unit of local government, nor a public
health district may regulate a lemonade stand operated by a
person under the age of 16 years.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
1, 2021.
