| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2643, AS AMENDED, | ||||||
| 3 | as follows:

| 4 | in Section 5, in Sec. 4, by replacing subsection (a-0.7) with | ||||||
| 5 | the following: | ||||||
| 6 | "(a-0.7) The public body awarding any contract for public | ||||||
| 7 | work or otherwise undertaking any public works shall require | ||||||
| 8 | that each bidder include in each bid an estimated total number | ||||||
| 9 | of straight-time work hours to be performed by minorities and | ||||||
| 10 | females, as defined in the Business Enterprise for Minorities, | ||||||
| 11 | Females, and Persons with Disabilities Act, for each craft or | ||||||
| 12 | type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract.".
