Appropriates $250,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission for the payment of scholarships to students who qualify for the Journalism Student Scholarship Program.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section. 5The amount of $250,000, or so much thereof as
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
Fund to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission for the
payment of scholarships to students who qualify for the
Journalism Student Scholarship Program (110 ILCS 947/65.125).
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
2025.
