305 ILCS 5/5-30.6 new

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. 1 AN ACT concerning public aid.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5adding Section 5-30.6 as follows:
6 (305 ILCS 5/5-30.6 new)
7 Sec. 5-30.6. Standard drug formulary; managed care
8organizations. Managed care organizations under contract with
9the Department shall follow a standard prescription drug
10formulary established by the Department by rule. The Department
11shall adopt any rules necessary to implement this Section.
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
