AN ACT concerning civil law.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Non-Support Punishment Act is amended by
changing Section 5 as follows:
(750 ILCS 16/5)
Sec. 5. Prosecutions by State's Attorneys. A proceeding for
enforcement of this Act may be instituted and and prosecuted by
the several State's Attorneys only upon the filing of a
verified complaint by the person or persons receiving child or
spousal support.
