1 AN ACT concerning civil law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Non-Support Punishment Act is amended by
5changing Section 5 as follows:
6 (750 ILCS 16/5)
7 Sec. 5. Prosecutions by State's Attorneys. A proceeding for
8enforcement of this Act may be instituted and and prosecuted by
9the several State's Attorneys only upon the filing of a
10verified complaint by the person or persons receiving child or
11spousal support.
