AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1984
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1984 by replacing
everything after the enacting clause with the following:
"Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section
18-8.07 as follows:
(105 ILCS 5/18-8.07 new)
Sec. 18-8.07. State Board's budget; separate line items.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the State Board of
Education's annual budget must set out each of the following by
separate line item appropriation:
(1) The amount for the purposes of subsection (E) of
Section 18-8.05 of this Code.
(2) The amount for the purposes of subsection (G)(3) of
Section 18-8.05 of this Code.
(3) The amount for the purposes of subsection (H) of
Section 18-8.05 of this Code.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.".
