| 1 | AN ACT concerning real property.
| ||||||
| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
| 4 | Section 5. Upon payment to the Department of Corrections of | ||||||
| 5 | the sum equal to the appraised fair market value determined in | ||||||
| 6 | accordance with Section 10, the Director of such Department, on | ||||||
| 7 | behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to execute and | ||||||
| 8 | deliver to Will County for the purpose of constructing the Will | ||||||
| 9 | County Emergency Communications and Command Center on the | ||||||
| 10 | property a quit claim deed to the following described real | ||||||
| 11 | property, provided the grantee pays the appraisal, land survey, | ||||||
| 12 | title and closing costs, to wit: | ||||||
| 13 | THAT PART OF THE REAL ESTATE IN THE EAST HALF OF THE | ||||||
| 14 | EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 29 AND THE | ||||||

| 3 | Section 10. The appraised fair market value of the real | ||||||
| 4 | property described in Section 5 shall be determined by 3 | ||||||
| 5 | independent State certified general real estate appraisers | ||||||
| 6 | whose appraisal reports shall be subject to review and | ||||||
| 7 | certification by the Department of Corrections. The legal | ||||||
| 8 | description of such real property shall be subject to review | ||||||
| 9 | and approval by the Department of Corrections.
| ||||||
| 10 | Section 15. The payment for the appraisal, land survey, | ||||||
| 11 | title and closing costs, and the amount of the appraised fair | ||||||
| 12 | market value of the real property to the Department of | ||||||
| 13 | Corrections, as provided in Section 5, shall be deposited into | ||||||
| 14 | the General Revenue Fund.
| ||||||
| 15 | Section 20. The Director of Corrections shall obtain a | ||||||
| 16 | certified copy of this Act within 60 days after its effective | ||||||
| 17 | date and, upon receipt of payment required by Section 5, shall | ||||||
| 18 | record the certified document in the recorder's office in the | ||||||
| 19 | county in which the real property is located.
| ||||||
| 20 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 21 | becoming law.
